sounds like you and D are merely using each other...as you have done for quite some time now.

Perhaps the veil of anonymity has impeded your ability to read.

Let me summarize what I've already clearly said:

1. The break is made. D is outta here next week. I just have to live every day in between watching the few remaining embers of our marriage dwindle and die.

2. The message that her children are getting is clear: they don't matter. Not their stability, nor their security, nor their need for a male role model who is consistent in both encouragement and discipline. As usual, the children are the biggest victims here. D hasn't gone more than six months without dragging them into one ill-advised relationship after another.

Perhaps by the time they reach the point where they take to a rooftop with a 30.30, you'll be walking on the sidewalk below.

One less self-righteous, judgmental asshole sounds like a good thing to me.
 

i am only a reader of your words. it is your life. not mine. i do not judge anyone.

maybe you could give the kids some positive days before they are out of your life for good.

you are correct. there is a big distinction between my life that i live and the description thereof on this blog.

what i choose to share, i do so for my own reasons. i am not a detached chronicler of my own history. as such, i feel free to express my feelings about what is happening.

while you hide behind your anonymity, i bare my soul. try as you might to deny it, making statements like "it looks as if you two are 2 selfish people only interested in your yourselves....... " is highly judgemental, offensive, and not anything that will promote constructive dialogue with me.

and besides.... DUH!!!
