Also, I think it is a perspective that those on the left who are insisting that we are heading full tilt towards being a theocracy should understand.

Interesting. Very interesting. Especially in light of the fact that I was reading an article last night about this very topic, but from a leftist viewpoint. They were suggesting that the left can't appeal to people of faith because they don't do it very convincingly, and that they SHOULD not because the party is less "exclusionary". I wanted to yell through the newspaper, "You are so dead wrong! You are the exclusionary party and you don't even know it!" People didn't vote for Bush because of religion! When will the left see this? As long as they don't, they will keep losing. Hmmm. Not my best writing today. ha ha ha ha
 

As Sun Tzu said in 'The Art Of War', know your enemy and know yourself, and 100 times in 100, you will be victorious. The left doesn't know the right. However, since much of the right used to be part of the left, I think we understand them much better.
